Biologic therapy
Biologic therapy, also known as biologic response modifier therapy, uses substances made from living organisms to treat diseases. These therapies are often used to manage autoimmune conditions, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, or Crohn’s Disease, and certain cancers.
Biologics target specific parts of the immune system or disease process. Unlike traditional medications that may affect the whole body, biologics act more precisely, helping reduce inflammation and disease activity with fewer side effects.
* Rheumatoid arthritis
* Psoriatic psoriasis
* Crohn’s disease
* Ulcerative colitis
* Hyperlipidemia
* Multiple Sclerosis
* Chronic asthma
* Immunodeficiencies
* Osteoporosis
* Myasthenia Gravis
Most biologics are given by injection or intravenous (IV) infusion. Some may be self-injected at home, while others are administered in a clinical setting.
Common side effects of biologic drugs include injection site reactions (redness, pain, itching), and systemic reactions such as headache, chills, fever, nausea, and rash. Due to immune suppression, you may be more prone infections.
Vitamin therapy
Vitamin therapy involves the use of high-dose vitamins, either orally or through intravenous (IV) infusions, to address deficiencies, boost immunity, and support overall health and wellness.
Individuals with vitamin deficiencies, chronic fatigue, weakened immune systems, stress, certain chronic illnesses, or poor nutrient absorption may benefit from vitamin therapy. It can also support recovery and enhance energy levels.
* Vitamin C
* B-complex vitamins (including B12)
* Vitamin D
* Alpha lipoic acid
* Glutathione (antioxidant support)
* NAD+
* Amino blends
Most commonly through IV infusions or injections for faster absorption and effectiveness. Oral supplements may also be recommended based on individual needs.
Yes, when administered by trained professionals and based on your specific health needs. A consultation is typically required to assess your health status and determine the best approach.
